Chennai-headquartered motorcycle manufacturer Royal Enfield has officially revealed the first look of the Himalayan 750 ahead of its scheduled global debut at the EICMA trade show in Milan, Italy, on November 3. The new middleweight adventure motorcycle represents the company's first entry into the 750cc engine category and will sit above the existing Himalayan 450 in the brand lineup.
For Indian motorcycle enthusiasts and domestic buyers, the vehicle marks a significant expansion of the home-grown brand's touring portfolio into higher displacement brackets. Following its international showcase in Europe, the manufacturer has slated the domestic introduction of the Himalayan 750 for the Motoverse festival in Goa toward the end of November.
Official images released by the company confirm that the new adventure tourer departs from the single-cylinder configuration of its smaller stablemates by adopting a parallel-twin engine architecture. While exact power outputs and torque figures remain withheld ahead of the formal presentation in Italy, test prototypes and industry estimates suggest the motor displaces roughly 750cc.
Equipment specifications confirmed by the company include modern rider aids such as switchable traction control, electronic cruise control, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and fully adjustable suspension. The motorcycle also features a round TFT instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity and integrated navigation capabilities, alongside an LED headlamp unit housed within a redesigned front cowl.
The styling elements differ noticeably from the Himalayan 450, omitting the high-set front beak in favour of a half-fairing that merges into the fuel tank. Buyers will have a choice of five distinct colour schemes, complemented by either spoke wheels with tubeless tyre compatibility or cast alloy wheels. Braking duties are handled by disc brakes on both wheels, supported by dual-channel ABS.
Market analysts expect the domestic ex-showroom pricing to position the flagship adventure tourer competitively against rival middleweight offerings when it reaches retail floors. Complete technical specifications, variant details, and exact pricing structures will be disclosed by company executives during the EICMA presentation. Following the public unveiling in Milan and the subsequent domestic debut in Goa, commercial availability across Indian dealerships is projected to follow in the coming months.
