The Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association closed the online registration portal for the second session of the Karnataka Management Aptitude Test. The examination serves as an essential gateway for students seeking entry into Master of Business Administration, Post Graduate Diploma in Management, and Master of Computer Applications programs across management institutions in the state.
For applicants across the country, the closing of the window marks the final opportunity to secure eligibility for postgraduate management and computer application seats for the current academic cycle. The test scores are accepted by more than 189 All India Council for Technical Education-approved and university-affiliated management colleges located in Bengaluru and other parts of Karnataka.
Candidates who missed the initial testing cycle held earlier or those seeking an opportunity to improve their previous scores were permitted to submit fresh applications during this registration window. Officials noted that earlier applications do not carry forward, requiring a separate entry for the November examination.
The application fee for the test was fixed at ₹1,230, inclusive of goods and services tax, applicable uniformly across general and reserved categories. Applicants completed the process through the designated online portal by providing personal credentials, academic records, and proof of fee payment before the midnight deadline.
Eligibility parameters mandate that candidates applying for management programs hold a recognized bachelor's degree of at least three years' duration. For computer application courses, applicants are required to possess a qualifying degree with mathematics or statistics studied at the higher secondary or graduation level. Final-year undergraduate students awaiting final results were also allowed to apply provisionally.
Following the conclusion of the registration process, the examination authority has scheduled the entrance test for November 14. The assessment will run from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM as a home-based, online remote proctored test spanning two hours.
The format consists of 120 multiple-choice questions divided across sections testing verbal ability and reading comprehension, quantitative aptitude, and logical and abstract reasoning. Registered candidates are expected to download their hall tickets from the official portal ahead of the test date and verify their system compatibility for the proctored environment.
