Smartphone manufacturer Infinix has officially confirmed that its performance-focused handset, the GT 50 Pro, will debut in the Indian market on October 27. The device arrives following an online promotional campaign hosted on the company's regional portal.
For domestic buyers and mobile enthusiasts, the arrival of the GT 50 Pro introduces an alternative option in the performance-heavy smartphone segment. The device arrives roughly six months after its initial rollout across select international territories, bringing specialized cooling hardware and dedicated gaming controls to local consumers.
The smartphone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate processor, coupled with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage configurations. Infinix stated that the hardware combination is engineered to sustain frame rates of up to 144 frames per second in compatible titles such as Call of Duty: Mobile and Free Fire Max.
Visuals are handled by a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display supporting a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. The manufacturer has specified that the panel is capable of reaching a peak brightness level of 4,500 nits, alongside a high touch reporting rate designed for responsive inputs during extended operation.
Thermal regulation on the GT 50 Pro relies on the company's proprietary HydroFlow Liquid Cooling System. This setup incorporates a 7,700 square millimetre 3D vapour chamber, a micro-pump, and dual piezoelectric ceramic plates designed to circulate cooling liquid at rates reaching 6.5 millilitres per minute. The rear panel also features an Explicit Viewport Design, allowing users visual access to the internal cooling channels.
For physical controls, the handset retains pressure-sensitive shoulder triggers supporting ten distinct pressure levels and four individual input modes, including light presses, hard presses, and directional swipes. Energy needs are met by a 6,500mAh battery unit that accommodates 45W wired charging alongside 30W wireless charging capabilities.
In terms of optics, the phone houses a dual-sensor rear camera arrangement featuring a 50-megapixel primary sensor equipped with optical image stabilization, complemented by an 8-megapixel secondary ultrawide lens. Selfies and video calls are managed by a 13-megapixel front-facing camera.
Commercial availability for the GT 50 Pro has been slated exclusively through online retailer Flipkart. Consumers can choose between two colour configurations, designated as Black Abyss and Red Blaze, with official pricing details expected to be disclosed on the day of the launch event.
